having much more bravado than either marcela or myself she walks right up to him and started talking. marcela and i try not to stare and pretend to have the conversation that would surely solve all the issues with the world we include serious looks, gestures and laughing. we look up and there they were talking and laughing and walking back towards the table. score, she got her man. he grabbed a smoke, shook her hand and walked away. he apparently had a girlfriend but as she said he was very "nice about it." but then this is what we had to deal with for like a 5 whole seconds...but alas, the night was young and there were more men to stalk, i mean talk to .... lip gloss please....
